How to make Yellow Rice from Asian (Indonesian)

Yellow rice is rice that has a more savory flavor than normal rice. This yellow rice is made from ordinary rice (rice) cooked with turmeric / turmeric, coconut milk and spices.

Because of its deliciousness, this yellow rice is usually used for events such as salvation / wedding or cone and others. Or if the price is more expensive than white rice / plain rice.
The following is a recipe for making yellow rice
Basic material :
* 750 gr of rice, wash clean
* 100 g glutinous rice, soak for 30 minutes, then drain
* 10 cm old turmeric, grated, take the juice
* 1250 ml of coconut milk, from 1 coconut
* 2 lemongrass stems, bruised
* 2 pandanus leaves, shredded, shredded
* 5 orange leaves
* 2 teaspoons of salt
* 1 tablespoon of orange juice
How to make yellow rice:
* Prepare a cone shaped 1,000 ml volume cone.
Heat water in a steamer, mix rice and glutinous rice, steam until half cooked (+ 20) minutes, remove from heat.
Transfer to the pan, set aside.
* Mix turmeric water with coconut milk, lemon grass, pandan leaves, orange leaves, and salt.
Cook on fire until boiling, stirring, remove from heat.
* Pour coconut milk into a pan filled with rice, stir until smooth, then cook on the fire
while occasionally stirring, cook until the coconut milk dries (becomes aron), lift it.
Add lime juice, stir well.

* Heat the boiler, add aron rice, steam until cooked (+ 25 minutes), remove from heat.
Alasi cone mold with leaves, add rice while hot while pressed until pressed, then turn immediately on a serving plate. Yellow rice is ready to be enjoyed.
